Hello my coco puffs and welcome back to my blog! Today, it’s going to be pretty simple. I’m here to give you the tea on some Halloween costume ideas! Of course you could go as something boring and predictable like a shark or an angel. But why would you do that and we’re supposed to be close? Now come on here and let me show you something.
Orange Blossom – Strawberry Shortcake
First up is Orange Blossom from the Strawberry Shortcake series. This one is pretty short, sweet, and easy. I’d like to assume that most of these things are in your closet already, so all you had to worry about was getting a patch like the one I added above. Or if you’re extra fancy, you could draw a sunflower on the sweatshirt. Orange Blossom is also depicted with a hat on sometimes, and I’ve seen people just wear an orange beanie.

Canary – Hunter X Hunter
Of course I had to add one of my personal faves, Ms. Canary from my favorite anime. This one is also pretty simple, especially for someone who works in a business office or who likes to wear pantsuits in general.

I added Tiana as a waitress because it;s something different really. Not as expensive as buying the princess costume or a big ball gown dress.

Didi Pickles – Rugrats
I know FOR SURE some of yall, or ya mamas, have some of this stuff laying around, especially with the jewelry. I actually saw this on Pinterest and I thought it was different. I haven’t seen any of her costumes ever. You could probably get the glasses from party city, or even walmart or the dollar store if you’re lucky.
Darla – Finding Nemo
This is another one I think would be cute and different for a black woman to do. Again, it also pretty simple, if you have these colors in your closet, and a good ginger wig lol. It would also work as a couple or friend costume, one of you be Darla, and the other be the fish.

Coraline Jones – Coraline
Another one of my faves! I’ve seen a recent uptick in people dressing up as Coraline recently as well. Another simple costume that can be created with household belongings.
Kat Elliot – Wendell and Wild
If I dress up this year, this is what I’m doing, 100%! OKay? If you’ve read my first SPOOKTOBER post you’ll understand why. If not, I’ll give you a few minutes to go check it out.
Jimmy Bones – Bones
I couldn’t find any examples of other people doing this one, so you could be the first! It makes since, because the movie is so obscure as is. Let your tall, lanky friend know what’s up.
